What Causes Facial Sweating?
For some people, especially women, they dislike summer because it makes them sweat. Their pores get clogged with oils and sweat, their make-up runs or doesn`t stay on, and they hate that feeling of always feeling damp. For other people, that feeling is year-round. No matter what they do or where they go, they are always soaking wet. So, what causes facial sweating?
Take a look at any boxing match or basketball game and you will see big, sweaty guys with perspiration just dripping off of their heads and faces, not to mention the rest of their bodies. This is absolutely natural. This is our body`s way of cooling us down. When we exercise or even when we are under stress, our internal temperature rises, and in order to cool us down, the body emits dampness. The theory is that some wind will blow up, hit the dampness on the skin and cool us down. This is what causes facial sweating under normal conditions.
But for some people, they are like this all the time. They can be “sweating like a pig” in the middle of winter, even when they are not exerting themselves one bit. Are you one of those people? Have you wondered your entire life what causes facial sweating in your body?
The truth is that some people simply sweat more than others, but then there are those with a condition called hyperhidrosis. This is an exceptional amount of sweating. You can get hyperhidrosis on the palms of your hands or the soles of your feet. These people have to live with problems like never wanting to hold hands or shake hands, or having exceptionally stinky feet and shoes. Yuk!
You can also get hyperhidrosis in your armpits. These people have a whole other set of problems! They sweat excessively under their arms whether they are on an interview or on a date, or just sitting at home, watching television. Although it is often triggered by anxiety or stress, their bodies are so programmed to sweat, that they can start dripping from their armpits at a moment`s notice. They will go to work with a change or two of clothing, avoid wearing tight clothes, and are usually very afraid of how they smell.
What causes facial sweating is the same mechanism. If you find that you are often damp above the lip, the sides of your nose, or on your forehead, this is hyperhidrosis of the face. The good news is that it is completely curable, but not necessarily by going to your doctor. Some doctors will prescribe facial antiperspirants which can be uncomfortable (sticky and astringent), or even painful. Some people also find that what causes facial sweating in them requires some type of surgery.
But, by using a product like Head ‘n Facial Sweating, you can find in just a matter of days that your lifetime of facial sweating is gone and you can start living a more normal life without worrying about constantly mopping off your dripping face.
