Control Facial Sweating to Avoid Too Much of a Good Thing

For those who suffer from excessive perspiring, sweat may seem to be an unnecessary evil. Wouldn`t life be better without it? Perspiring tends to have negative connotations in today`s world. If we see people sweating bullets in certain situations, then we often make certain assumptions based on our observations. They`re jittery. They`re insecure. 1. Sweating cleanses the skin.

Couldn`t you just take a shower? Unfortunately, doing that only cleans the surface of the skin. If you want to cleanse the skin from the inside-out, then perspiring is even more effective than showering (but don`t quit those showers!). That`s particularly true in today`s world since we`re constantly bombarded by processed foods, pollution, and other sources of toxins. Whether you exercise or use a sauna, perspiring helps to unclog the dirt that`s imbedded deep in your skin`s pores. On the other hand, you still need to control facial sweating, since sweating can become redundant once those pores are clean.

2. Sweating controls your body`s temperature.

Perspiring works as a type of air conditioning system for your body. When you start workout out, doing yard work and so on—your body temperature starts rising. If it were to keep rising indefinitely, then you`d be in a world of trouble. But the brain functions as a thermostat, using the Central Nervous System (CNS) to send your sweat glands a memo to switch on the cooling system. The problem occurs when the CNS is unbalanced, which results in a person being unable to control facial sweating. So the key is to keep those sweat glands in check.

3. Sweating helps your body to relax.

Over time, stress and toxins build up in our bodies. You could say that they get under our skin—quite literally. By releasing them from our bodies, it`s easier to relax. Think about the last time you had a solid workout. Sure, you were probably exhausted right after the workout. But once your body started to recover, you felt as cool as a cucumber. The problem with excessive perspiring is that you can start losing water, carbohydrates and salts—stuff your body loses every time you perspire. So if you`re unable to control facial sweating, then you`ll feel drained instead of relaxed!

4. Sweating causes weight loss.

Whenever you work out, it`s easy to lose 200-300 calories after perspiring for an hour. That`s a good thing if you want to burn calories and fat. But it can become a problem when your face experiences excessive perspiring. Within time, you could easily start losing too much weight, resulting un dehydration and other problems caused by speedy weight-loss. Again, it`s a case of too much of a good thing. You want to avoid burning pounds at an unhealthy rate!
